1. Attorney-Directed Business Services
ChapterDesk provides bankruptcy-related administrative and document preparation support exclusively to attorneys and law firms.
ChapterDesk is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal representation, or bankruptcy services directly to consumers.
All legal decisions, legal strategy, client counseling, jurisdiction-specific determinations, document review, and filing decisions remain the responsibility of the retaining attorney.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this website, submission of a consultation request, or communication with ChapterDesk does not create an attorney-client relationship.
ChapterDesk does not represent debtors, creditors, or other consumers in bankruptcy proceedings.
3. No Engagement Until Accepted
Submitting a consultation request does not create a service relationship between ChapterDesk and your firm.
Services begin only after ChapterDesk and the retaining attorney or law firm agree upon the scope of work, pricing, workflow requirements, and any applicable service agreement.
ChapterDesk reserves the right to accept or decline any proposed engagement.
4. Website Information

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or a legal opinion regarding any particular bankruptcy matter.
Bankruptcy laws, local rules, procedures, forms, exemptions, and court requirements may vary by jurisdiction and may change over time.
5. Attorney Review and Approval
All documents and work product prepared by ChapterDesk are subject to attorney review.
The retaining attorney remains responsible for:
determining applicable law and exemptions;
providing legal advice to the client;
reviewing the accuracy and completeness of information;
approving petitions, schedules, statements, plans, and other documents;
determining whether and when documents should be filed; and
ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and professional obligations.
6. Pricing
Pricing displayed on this website represents starting rates unless otherwise stated.
Final pricing may vary based on case complexity, completeness of client information, document volume, jurisdiction-specific requirements, requested turnaround, and additional services requested by the attorney.
Website pricing does not constitute a binding service quote until confirmed by ChapterDesk.
7. Turnaround Times
Any estimated turnaround time is dependent upon case complexity, receipt of substantially complete information, document volume, attorney responsiveness, and the scope of the requested assignment.
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, website references to turnaround times are estimates and not guarantees.
